Advising Middle East Power (MEP) for the Operation and Maintenance of Deralok Hydropower Plant in KRG

The firm advised Middle East Power (MEP) in respect to the drafting and review of the Operation and Maintenance Agreement for the Deralok 37 MW hydropower plant located in Duhok, Kurdistan Region Governorate, Iraq.

The Deralok hydropower plant has costed USD 129,000,000 and was financed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

This is not the first power plant awarded to MEP in KRG. This project comes in addition to the other two power plants MEP operates in Erbil and Duhok.
